Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 July 2026

Orbit ("we", "us") is operated by Rajveer Patel, an independent software developer based in India. By downloading the Orbit desktop application or subscribing to Orbit Pro, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The Orbit desktop application is free to use and runs locally on your machine. Orbit Pro is a paid subscription that adds optional cloud services: account sync across machines, remote control from other devices, and team features. Pro is billed at US$20 per user per month or US$200 per user per year.

2. Payments & Merchant of Record

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), who is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable sales tax/VAT, invoices, and customer payment data. See our refund policy.

3. Subscriptions & cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Billing → customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. No trial is offered, the free desktop app is the evaluation.

4. Your code and content

Your repositories, code, and AI-provider API keys stay on your machine. Orbit never proxies your AI requests. If you enable cloud sync, workspace metadata (project names, task titles, statuses) is stored on our servers to provide the service; we claim no ownership of it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to attack, overload, or reverse the security of our infrastructure. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Disclaimer & liability

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI coding agents act on your machine under your supervision, review their output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after a change is acceptance.

8. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: rajveerpatel.2450@gmail.com.
